Environmental Policy is included in our Corporate Policy
The Environmental Protection became more and more important during the last years in our society and concerns also the companies.
As a producing enterprise we consider it our special duty to contribute for sustained environment-friendly Economies.
For this reason we established an Environment Management System. We want to have ourselves concerned in applying the Environment Protection in our Company and to improve it continuously.
Through the below listed Environmental Policy of our Company we intend to inform Customers, Suppliers, interested Public, Officials, Associations as well as our staff Members about our goals for the Environment Protection.

Environment Protection, Occupational Safety and Plant Safety is a firmly anchored Corporate goal at Klingelnberg
We face our responsibility for the operational Environment Protection, for the safety of our Collaborators and for the safety of our facilities. The goal of our Corporate actions is to include the effects on the Environment in all Corporate decisions.
1. Prevention and Reduction of Environmental burdens through provisions is our Goal
Environment Protection, Occupational Safety as well as Plant Safety already start at new Investments and Procurement Processes. We anticipate as far as possible the effects of new processes, activities and new substances on the Environment.
We take further preventive measures for the prevention and restrain of possible cases of damages.
2. Reduction of raw materials consumption and Development of Recycling Strategies
The sparing handling of the Atmosphere, Water, and Ground, of the applied energies as well as other natural resources is our cornerstone for an active Environment Protection. We achieve this for instance by the sparing use of energy.
3. Environment oriented Corporate Management in Collaboration with the Employees
We motivate our Collaborators to Environment and Safety oriented Responsibility and corresponding behavior by means of regular interchange of Knowledge and Experiences as well as Education and Specialization.
4. Accomplishment of Prescriptions and Legislation relevant for the Environment
The accomplishment of legal prescriptions for Environment Protection, for Occupational Safety as well as for Plant Safety is a condition of our corporate actions. We have the ambition of assuring the environment Protection beyond the required minimum and to improve it constantly.
5. Information and Cooperation
Information and Cooperation for the Environment Protection, Occupational Safety as well as Plant Safety with our Collaborators, Customers, Neighbors, Officials, Associations and Commercial Partners are a part of our activities.
6. Continuous Improvement of the Environment Management System
